In the initial stages of any concept and strategy development, I prefer to run my programs through the 7 Es.

Initially developed in 2009, as I was working on a National Sports Partnership I only had 4 Es. Today, with learnings and industry changes in 2021 the Es have expanded to 7.  These key steps help establish benchmarks and prioritization of the elements/tactics and the effectiveness of the overall strategy. This can help guide stakeholders to ensure the consumers experience is effective and impactful. The touchpoints, call to action, and engagement need to stimulate the consumer for current/future brand consideration. From the brands prospective, these elements maximize conceptual ideation while driving key messaging and ensure delivery to the established KPIs. Hopefully the Es can help you elevate your concepts and brand to a creative impactful program.
